This is another effect that I'm surprised I haven't done more often. I really like drawing something small, and then seeing how it looks when it's blown up larger. Everyone knows that when an image is shrunk, the detail is tightened up; in other words, all of the
mistakes are more likely to be hidden!
But in this case, everything is enlarged - including all of those details that one might consider to be scribbled errors. This self-portrait was made with no preliminary pencil marks - just a pen drawn over itself again and again. I personally think it makes for a kinda cool-looking drawing...
